Haris
Founder, VitalEdgeFit
I started training as a teenager in various disciplines including track & field, olympic weightlifting and powerlifting. Over the years my focus shifted to achieving the optimal mix of health and performance using my training background and education plus evidence-based nutrition, supplementation and recovery.
I built VitalEdgeFit because I was tired of fitness advice that sounded confident but wasn't backed by science. Every article and review on this site is written to the standard I wish I'd had access to when I started.
What You'll Find Here
VitalEdgeFit covers six areas of fitness and health. Each one is treated the same way: start with the research, test where possible, and give a straight answer.
Training Guides
Programs and technique guides for building strength and muscle, grounded in exercise science. Covers compound lifting, progressive overload, training frequency, and more.
Supplement Reviews
In-depth reviews with ingredient analysis. Every verdict is based on published research, user feedback, and transparent criteria, no sponsored content, no guesswork on dosing.
Recovery Strategies
Sleep quality, mobility work, deload programming, and injury prevention. Recovery is where adaptation happens, it deserves the same attention as training.
Nutrition Guides
Diet frameworks, protein targets, meal timing, and longevity-focused nutrition strategies. Practical advice based on what the current literature actually supports.
Cardio & Endurance
Programming for cardiovascular fitness, VO₂ max, zone training, and general conditioning, including how to balance cardio with strength work.
Health Tech Reviews
Honest assessments of wearables, trackers, and health monitoring devices. What the data they collect is actually useful for, and what's just noise.
Every recommendation is traceable. Articles cite the studies they draw on. Where evidence is limited or mixed, that's noted explicitly, the goal is to help you make an informed decision, not to sound more certain than the research justifies.
